INDUSTRIA EDITION harnesses the power of steel to create imaginative furniture, lighting and decorative accessories.
The brand takes its creative cues from the timeless aesthetics of the Mid-Century Modern era, while also drawing inspiration from nature. Referencing the robust form of a molave tree as well as the whimsical shape of a beehive in their designs, INDUSTRIA EDITION merges organic structure with the raw quality of steel and translates it into a statement piece.
Steel is their material of choice – highlighting its unique qualities, exploring possibilities in line and form, and discovering new textures and finishes. With 24 years of expertise, steel is molded, ham-mered, fired and smoothened by the hands of the skilled craftsmen whose personal touch cannot be replicated by machines. Marrying modern design with traditional, handmade production, INDUSTRIA EDITION blurs the lines of art and furniture – crafting collections that are sculptural yet practical, innovative yet instant classics

With more than 20 years of experience under his belt, Mr. Jude Tiotuico is Industria Edition’s Creative Director and Chief Designer who loves working on vastly diverse projects.
Inspired by the design silhouettes of the Modern Mid-Century and significant vintage forms, finish, and texture, his journey started in the 90’s with a company called VICO Manufacturing Corporation. The early years were about sub-contracting wrought iron accessories and furniture. He eventually developed a craving to create his own look and started to dabble in design soon after. He described his early works as “eclectic – since there was a lack of a better term for it”, as he laughingly recalled.
When he met and collaborated with interior designer Eric Paras in 2007, Jude started to hone his skills, learning valuable lessons along the way which he still applies up to now. In 2013, he was given an opportunity to work and collaborate with both the country’s premiere interior designer Budji Layug and furniture designer Kenneth Cobonpue, with the newly formed Design Philippines by CITEM. The opportunity further led him to zero-in on the signature look he had long searched for.
Jude’s design process starts with imbuing snippets of his past experiences and moods on his lifestyle and travels, adding fantasy to form and function to his main medium – “STEEL”. This process results in a harmonious balance of fun and sophistication, achieving a sense of lightness and simple elegance never imagined as a quality of steel.
